The Baishan branch of Postal Savings Bank has been solving financing problems faced by small and micro enterprises in the city of Baishan in Northeast China's Jilin province by increasing their access to funding, according to local media reports.

During the epidemic, the bank provided a loan of 4 million yuan ($621,200) for Linjiang Baisheng New Pharmaceutical Co to build a UnionPay payment platform in order to ensure the health and safety of Linjiang residents.

For Jingyu County Rongxing Packaging Co, the bank promoted special loans aimed at small and micro enterprises.

The corporate legal person pre-applied on the official mobile app on June 29. It took only two working days after application for the company to receive a loan of 1 million yuan.

Beginning in April this year, the Baishan branch delegated its loan business to sub-branches and combined deposits and loans, resulting in an improved customer experience.

The current loan balance of Hongxiang sub-branch is 260 million yuan, which serves 620 local customers.
