The Momoge Wetland located in Baicheng city, Northeast China's Jilin province, recently witnessed its peak autumn bird migration season.

With the gathering of migratory birds such as cranes, herons, geese, and wild ducks, the number of birds has reached the tens of thousands in Zhuanlai county's Momoge Wetland and Erlongtao River Basin.

Momoge Wetland is not only an internationally-significant wetland but also the largest wetland reserve in Jilin province. It serves as a breeding and resting ground for numerous migratory birds. Every autumn, a large number of birds fly in from the north, adding a vibrant splash of color to the season.

According to observations, this migration peak sees the arrival of thousands of cranes, Oriental storks, herons, and tundra swans as agreed. Among them are a considerable number of rare bird species such as bean geese, green-winged teals, and herons.
