The 5th China Oat and Buckwheat Industry Conference was held in Baicheng city, Northeast China's Jilin province, on June 18-21, aiming to boost industry innovation and promote high-quality development.

It is known that Baicheng is located in the oat golden planting belt, and the brand "Baicheng Oat" and its products have been rated as national geographical indication protected products. After years of research and exploration, Baicheng Agricultural Science Institute has achieved advanced research on characteristic crops such as oats. It has established national oat and buckwheat industry technology research and development centers, and national oat improvement centers.

The conference aims to promote the rapid and healthy development of the oat and buckwheat industry, enhance enterprise innovation, and improve product quality and safety. Some 800 experts, entrepreneurs, and scholars from all over the country attended the event to discuss the industry's current status, problems, and trends, as well as the development strategies and technological innovations of oat and buckwheat products.

The organizers hope that through this conference, they can showcase the achievements of Baicheng city in the oat and buckwheat industry, strengthen cooperation and exchanges between enterprises, and explore new cooperation opportunities with the rest of the world.

They are also looking forward to the conference promoting the development of the industry and becoming an essential platform for international cooperation and exchange in the future.
