About 2 kilometers from Da'an North Railway Station in Baicheng, Jilin province, is a special parking lot with nearly 100 locomotives that have been retired and mothballed.

Among all the locomotives at the Da'an Locomotive Expo Park, 79 are steam locomotives of various models, setting a Guinness World Record for the display of steam locomotives in 2021.

With an area of 21,000 square meters, the park was jointly built by local government and China Railway Shenyang Group.

All the retired locomotives will be cleaned, repaired and arranged by professional workers before being put into storage.
