Vasaloppet International Ski Festival kicks off in Jilin

The 22nd China Changchun Jingyuetan Vasaloppet International Ski Festival commenced in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province on Jan 4.

This year's ski festival includes four main sections: the Vasaloppet skiing series, the China-Russia Youth Winter Games, an exhibition, and a winter agricultural expo. With a total of 11 events, the festival has attracted professional athletes and guests from 26 countries worldwide, as well as participants from 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China.

The China Changchun Jingyuetan Vasaloppet International Ski Festival has been held for 21 consecutive years and has been recognized as part of the first group of national sports tourism boutique events as well as one of China's top 10 ice and snow tourism festivals and activities.
