Jilin holds annual people's congress

The fifth session of the 13th Jilin Provincial People's Congress wraps up in the city of Changchun, in Northeast China's Jilin province, on Jan 24. A government work report for 2021 was delivered during the annual event, outlining the province's achievements over the past year. In 2021, its GDP increased by 6.6 percent, while its local fiscal revenue increased by 5.4 percent and the growth rate of residents' per capita disposable income kept pace with economic growth.
