"Movie Houses" (Yingshi Xiaowu), part of a public welfare project aimed at promoting film and television art on campus, will be introduced to three schools in Dongfeng county, Liaoyuan in Northeast China's Jilin province, with a launch ceremony held on Nov 17, according to local media reports.

The three schools are Dongfeng County Xincheng Primary School, Dongfeng Town Central Primary School, and Dongfeng County Vocational Senior High School.

At the launch ceremony, the Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Jilin Provincial Radio and Television Artists Association presented cameras, supporting equipment, books, and film and television discs to the three schools, and issued letters of appointment to three film and television art teachers.

After the ceremony, the three teachers also provided training on micro-video shooting and production for students.
