China FAW Group Corporation (FAW), founded in 1953, is a Chinese State-owned automotive corporation with total assets of 244.58 billion yuan ($37.74 billion). It is a global leader in the vehicle manufacturing industry.

FAW offers diversified products ranging from quality light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, automobiles, and municipal buses to luxury tourist coaches, custom bus chassis, and mini-vehicles. The corporation sells to more than 70 countries with total sales exceeding 18 million vehicles.

The company, based in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, recently ranked 40th among the Top 500 Chinese Brands with a brand value of 52.27 billion yuan.

The company ranked 11th among central government-owned enterprises and first among auto manufacturers.
