On April 24, Jilin International Studies University in Northeast China's Jilin province witnessed the signing of agreements between the university's International Ice and Snow College and 12 ice and snow enterprises, such as Changbai Mountain Wanda International Resort and Vanke Lake Songhua Resort. These agreements are set to establish a joint Ice and Snow Practice Base.

The high-quality development of the ice and snow industry chain depends on the strong support of the education chain. The establishment of a new base for government-industry-enterprise-university collaboration in talent cultivation is a solid step in promoting the integration of production, education, and research in the ice and snow field.

This initiative will support the development of Jilin's ice and snow industry and accelerate the high-quality development of ice and snow enterprises. It will also add highlights to the distinctive features of its existing ice and snow sector, creating focal points, and building brands for Jilin International Ice and Snow College. The base is also set to enhance the growth of talents that will serve Jilin's high-quality development strategy.

After the launch ceremony, a seminar on deepening ice and snow "industry + academia + research" integration was held. The seminar discussed effective talent training in international ski resort operation and management. It also emphasized deepening production-education integration and exploring new models for talent cultivation, which will serve Jilin province's high-quality development and industrial growth.
