This resort was one of the first national-level ski tourism destinations in China. It is a skiing paradise built on the golden powder snow belt. The famed belt, located at 42 degrees north latitude, gives Changbai Mountains high-quality powder snow comparable to the Alps in Europe and the Rocky Mountains in North America.

The resort is located in Fusong county, on the western foothills of the Changbai Mountains. With an extended snow season and a terrain surrounded by mountains on three sides, the resort has gained a well-deserved reputation for harbor skiing.
