The Changshan Huayuan Community is located in the northeastern part of Changchun city. It covers an area of 0.73 square kilometers and has a population of nearly 7,000 people that reside in 3,100 households.

Over the years, the community has continuously innovated its working mechanisms and governance methods to create a livable community, based on its actual situation. The community has been honored with over 100 titles, including National Harmonious Community Construction Demonstration Area, and National Civilized Unit.
