Located on the Songhua River within the city of Jilin, Songhua Lake is the largest artificial lake in Jilin province. It was formed by the construction of the Fengman Hydroelectric Power Station, which intercepted water from the Songhua River.

The scenic area consists of 10 relatively independent attractions, divided by the dam into the east and west banks, including Luotuofeng, Fengwuchi and Wolongtan.

Various sanatoriums have been built here, making it a therapeutic area.

It is home to 140 species of wildlife, adding considerable vitality to the lake area. Its tranquil waters, majestic mountains, beautiful forests, and unique rock formations are truly breathtaking. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction.
