Yang Jingyu Martyrs Cemetery

Located on the eastern banks of the Hun River in Tonghua city, the Yang Jingyu Martyrs Cemetery is the burial site of General Yang Jingyu, a great national hero who fought against the Japanese invasion during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45).. The cemetery was established in 1954 and opened to the public in 1958. The protected area covers 180,000 square meters, with the cemetery itself occupying 20,000 sq m.

The core of the cemetery consists of the Jingyu Mausoleum and the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army Memorial Hall, making it a large-scale memorial facility that has 13 national-level honors. The Yang Jingyu Martyrs Cemetery has become an important base for patriotic education, national defense education and various themed educational activities.
