The 2023 Changchun Summer Relaxation Festival kicked off on June 10 in Changchun, the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, with an illuminated Changchun Modern Agricultural Park providing a magnificent display.

The festival, based on the theme of "Enjoy A Refreshing Summer, Savor City Life," promises a variety of experiences for visitors to participate in over the next three months. It will offer four major series of activities, including cultural experiences, tourism and leisure, refreshing camping, and high-quality performances, featuring over 180 events to attract and entertain visitors.

In addition to cultural activities, visitors can participate in various outdoor experiences, such as camping, cycling, and water sports, to rejuvenate and relax during the hot summer.

Changchun city initiated the China Changchun Summer Relaxation Festival in 2007 to introduce this summer resort to more people and boost other industries as a result of prospering tourism.

The opening night of the festival featured a high-quality musical and dance performance that thrilled and delighted the audience. The festival's organizers expressed their hope that the event will not only provide a platform for cultural exchange but also showcase Changchun's unique charm as a city of culture, leisure, and tourism.
