Fucha Manchu Hotpot is known for the freshness of its ingredients and stresses the order of preparation. First, wild mountain vegetables should be placed in the pot, followed by freshwater shrimp, chicken, beef and mutton. They should then be brought to a boil. In June 2018, Fuchan Manchu Hotpot Restaurant was recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Base by Jilin and the Manchu Food Culture Teaching and Research Base of the Jilin Provincial Folklore Society.
