Northeast Industries Group Co Ltd is subordinate to China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (NORINCO Group) and is headquartered in the Changchun High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Jilin province.

It has 12 subsidiaries and 17 industrial bases at home and abroad, along with one national enterprise technology center, two postdoctoral research stations and six national approved (CNAS) laboratories. It also holds more than 800 domestic authorized patents and more than 600 international patents. It is a national enterprise with intellectual property advantages.

The group's main products are defense products such as aerial reconnaissance cameras and ground-based photoelectric sighting devices, as well as special purpose vehicles and automotive parts such as systems for digital reception, steering column switches, driving, braking and transmission, and electronic control. They also include chassis and accessories matched to various types of vehicles and engines at home and abroad.

The group's flywheel assembly is the most popular of its kind in Asia, and its clutches, vacuum boosters and engine connecting rods are hit products in China.
